Presented by the University of Chicago, the 5th Annual Careers Conference for High School Students offers assistance to prepare for and gain admission to college, or to prepare for satisfying and rewarding careers.

Students have the opportunity to select from a menu of 21 options that include: workshops on admissions strategies for selective and highly selective schools, essay writing, navigating online college and scholarship search tools, and

informational sessions about the Posse and Gates scholarships.  This year, they are offering interactive workshops where students can participate in simulated learning experiences, visit corporate/industry showcase rooms and an

admission resource room.  Career focused concurrent workshops provide an opportunity for students to explore and learn about careers in general, employment trends and new and emerging fields.  For registration information call 773-702-8288 or visit
