31st St. from Wentworth to LaSalle – Temporary Full Closure

31st St. from Wentworth Ave. to LaSalle St. is fully closed between June 3, 2024 and June 30, 2024 for the Illinois Department of Transportation to perform bridge deck overlay work. Please plan accordingly.

Eastbound 31st St. traffic should detour to northbound Halsted St. to eastbound Cermak Rd., to southbound State St., and back to eastbound 31st Street. The westbound 31st St. detour is the reverse of the eastbound instructions.

Cross street access will be maintained at all times. Same-side pedestrian access, ADA accessibility, and 3 of 4 crosswalks at impacted intersections will be maintained at all times. Additional wayfinding signage at LaSalle St. Wentworth Ave. and the 90/94 ramp approaching 31st St. will be posted.
