2025 Bank of America Chicago Marathon

Chicago Marathon – Sunday October 12th

The Bank of America Chicago Marathon will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025.

No parking will be allowed on the Chicago Marathon course. Towing of vehicles on the course will begin at 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 12, 2025. Please refer to the bold line on the map (left) that indicates the course for reference. Vehicles that are not removed from the street by that time will be ticketed and towed to the nearest auto pound. For inquiries about towed vehicles, call 312.744.4444.

Streets in your neighborhood may be closed to traffic starting at 6:00 a.m. and continuing to 4:00 p.m. as more than 53,000 participants pass through the area. A comprehensive list of street closures and their approximate reopening is available at

chicagomarathon.com/streetclosures. Access to other streets in your area not directly on the course may be affected during this time frame. The Chicago Marathon will work closely with the City of Chicago to reopen streets as quickly as possible.
