Join us on Saturday, July 26 for the 7th Annual Chicago Race Riot of 1919 Historic Tour starting at 35th and State.
Join approximately 300 participants for an educational tour through Bronzeville, Bridgeport, and surrounding neighborhoods to hear stories from historians, Healing 1919 Justice Ambassadors, and community leaders. The tour highlights key race riot of 1919 areas as well as locations showcasing the resilience of the Black community, including the Chicago Defender, Chicago Bee, Ida B. Wells, and Victory Monument.
