- never leave your keys in the ignition, not even for a minute.
- always lock your doors
- park in a secure garage or gated area when possible
- park in well-lit areas
- create a “Smart 911 Safety Profile” and include your vehicle information.
- invest in an anti-theft device, including using a break pedal lock, installing a hidden kill switch, VIN etching, and installing a tracking alert device
